This fabric is a premium quality 375gsm 5 Harness Satin weave carbon fibre fabric woven using high strength 6K carbon fibres.
The combination of a medium weight 6k tow and the 5 harness satin weave result is a very smooth fabric with a very close/dense weave pattern. Such fabrics are very easy to handle and show almost no 'gaps'. The 5 harness weave provides extremely good drape and a very smooth surface finish. Woven using a high strength fibre, this high quality fabric is ideal for backing plies on structural components or where a good level of surface smoothness and drapeability is needed. Also the unbalanced lay up is ideal when you need extra strength in one orientation.
