Handcrafted Fishing Lures
Barry began making fishing items, in particular Lures like these pictured, that he couldn't purchase at the time as a hobby. This hobby grew into more of a second job as slowly word spread about the lures and the handcrafted quality he could offer the fisherman/woman.
Working with various mediums including wood, plastisol and PU model board, Barry sources a large percentage of his materials from Easy Composites. The lures pictured are made using Xencast P6 toughened polyurethane resin and microbubbles. The durability of this particular resin makes it a fantastic product for manufacturing stronger than usual resin casts and the longer pot-life of the P6 is invaluable for pressure casting the pieces.

Robinson Lures specialise in high-end custom handmade predator lures, it all started as a hobby to fill niche gaps in Barry's own fishing lure armoury.
Word began to spread and over the past 8 years the brand has enjoyed pretty steady growth. Robinson Lures have been sold all over the world and have accounted for a myriad of different species, including a Scottish 40lb Pike and a French catfish of 90lb.
Robinson Lures try and bridge the gap between art and function, utilising all manner of techniques to produce finishes that are simply not obtainable from off the shelf products. Barry says he is extremely lucky to have such a loyal customer base not only in the UK but also throughout the world, and he takes pride in trying to push the boundaries of what is achievable in this field.
