These high quality, moulded-fit FFP2 (P2) disposable respirators offer a good level of protection from airborne dust when working with a wide range of composite materials either by hand or with power tools.

The valved design allows exhaled air to leave the mask easily without passing back through the mask's filter material keeping the mask cooler and dryer making breathing more natural and the mask more comfortable to wear for longer periods of time.

The FFP2 certification means that these masks provide protection from moderate concentrations of fine dusts generated by hand and machine cutting, sanding and drilling. They also offer protection from oil and water based mists. A P2 respirator is a better level of protection for all dust generating activities and is our minimum recommended level of protection when using powertools to sand or trim composite materials.

As a certified FFP2 (P2) respirator these masks have an Assigned Protection Factor (APF) of '10' meaning they offer at least 10 times more protection than working without a mask; considerably better than uncertified nuisance dust masks.

Choosing the right level of disposable protection

Using power tools to cut and sand composite materials creates smaller dust particles and greater quantities of dust than the use of hand-tools. For this reason, when using machines or power tools to cut or sand composite materials we would recommend this mask as the minimum level of protection.
