R100 P22 (Bread Wrap) Perforated Film (1200mm)

R100-MP22 is a low-cost, highly perforated release film recommended for simple debulking applications or as a release layer between peel ply and infusion mesh to aid removal of bagging consumables.

The material itself is 1.2m wide meaning that each linear metre is equal to 1.2sqm.

• Resin infusion (between peel ply and infusion mesh)
• Debulking prepregs

Commonly known as 'bread wrap', the high frequency of perforation allows almost unrestricted flow of resin through the film making it ideally suited to resin infusion applications. Once cured, the presence of the film between the infusion mesh and the peel ply makes removal of the infusion mesh much easier which in turn makes removal of the peel ply quicker and easier.

When using our FM105 EasyFlow infusion mesh, we strongly recommend using a layer of R100-MP22 between the mesh and peel ply.

R100-MP22 can also be used in any other application requiring a basic, heavily perforated bread wrap release film such as debulking pre-pregs (where it is used to prevent the breather fabric from sticking to the uncured pre-preg).

Position a layer of R100-MP22 between the infusion mesh and the peel-ply to assist in the removal of the bagging consumables from the laminate once cured. Particularly important for FM105 EasyFlow infusion mesh.
