These brass vacuum hose-tail connectors, also known as a barb connectors, have a push-fit tail used to connect vacuum hose to a range of equipment.
Available with a 1/4" BSPT (R) thread to suit 6mm, 8mm, 10mm and 12mm ID hoses and with a 1/2" BSPT (R) thread to suit an 8mm and 12mm ID hose.

Except for the 1/2" BSPT (R) 12mm version, these hose-tail connectors are supplied with a standard 1/4" BSPT (R) male thread suitable for screwing into a 1/4" BSP female thread on vacuum equipment and fittings including our 1/4 Turn Vacuum Valve.

Use with Reinforcement Spring
When using in conjunction with our Reinforcement Spring and 8mm ID Vacuum Hose you must select the 10mm ID (spring compatible) size hose tail connector. This size is specially designed to accept the reinforcement spring in a very tight fit. It also offers a very strong (almost impossible to remove) connection to the 8mm ID vacuum hose.
