Gain greater insight into your curing process with this auxiliary PT1000 temperature sensor, designed specifically for use with industrial ovens with an auxiliary temperature input such as our OV301 Precision Composites Curing Oven.

When connected to the oven's secondary temperature input, the sensor provides a second live temperature feed, allowing you to monitor and record the temperature of your component, or tooling directly, rather than relying solely on the oven's ambient air temperature. This gives a more accurate understanding of the actual temperature experienced by your component throughout the cure cycle.

Featuring a 50mm probe and a 1.6m high-temperature cable, the sensor can be positioned virtually anywhere within the oven cavity, making it suitable for a wide range of tooling and component sizes. The sensor is fitted with a standard flat 2-pin connector for quick and secure connection to the OV301 control panel.

The auxiliary temperature sensor automatically logs temperature data to a USB memory stick when connected to the OV301 control panel. Data from both the auxiliary sensor and the oven's internal sensor can be plotted later to visualise mould or component temperature lag.

Please note: When attached to an OV301 oven as a secondary temperature input, the auxiliary input is used for monitoring/recording only. The oven's temperature will still be controlled by the internal temperature sensor and not the auxiliary input. This is an important safety feature as mould/component temperature can often lag significantly behind the oven's air temperature.
