COVID 19 - Temporary Changes to Shipping Policy

Due to increased order volumes, reduced staff, social distancing and other operational restrictions, there are a some changes to our shipping policy which are currently in force due to the COVID 19 pandemic. Whilst the majority of deliveries are being made on time, as detailed in the country/service table below, these are exceptional circumstances for couriers and for the time being we are unable to guarantee the delivery times stated below.

General Shipping Information

Easy Composites EU B.V. is Easy Composites' EU distribution centre and is located in Rijen, Netherlands. All products are held in stock and ship directly from the Netherlands to customers throughout the European Union. We offer fast, reliable and cost-effective shipping of all products to all EU countries.

Shipping Cost Calculator

Our website uses a very sophisticated set of rules to calculate shipping costs for your exact consignment (size, weight, type of goods) and therefore, providing you enter your delivery address correctly, the price you see on the checkout page will be the price you will pay for shipping. However, due to the wide range of products (including hazardous and oversize products) in some rare circumstances the website may calculate the shipping price incorrectly or be unabe to provide shipping price. In these circumstances we will manually calculate the actual shipping cost and contact you to discuss.

Dispatch Days and Delivery Days

Orders placed before 13:00 (CET/CEST) on a working day (Mon-Fri) will be dispatched on the same day. Orders placed after 13:00 may still be dispatched on the same day but this is not guaranteed.

Deliveries are made on working days, Monday to Friday. Deliveries are not made on Saturday (except by special arrangement) or on public holidays (in the country of delivery).

Shipping to Remote Regions, Islands and Overseas Territories of EU Countries

Some remote regions, offshore islands and overseas territories of EU countries take longer to reach than the times stated in the service table below. If you are not sure if longer service times apply to your region, please contact us.

Shipping Dangerous Goods

Many of the products sold on the Easy Composites website are classed as hazardous or dangerous goods for transport. These products can be shipped to almost all EU countries and regions but due to courier rules and service availability, there are a small number of regions that we are unable to ship dangerous goods to. If this is the case, the website shipping calculator will alert you to this or we will contact you to discuss.

Due to shipping regulations, we may choose to change the pack size of a product you have ordered to a number of smaller packs. If we do, there will be no extra cost to you and shipping delays will be avoided.

Oversize Goods

Some of our products (particularly carbon fibre tubes, sheets and foam blocks) are very large. Understandably, courier services (such as TNT or DHL) charge considerably more for the transport of these oversize items. A small 'Additional Handling' charge applies to orders containing items over 1.2m in length an a significant 'Oversize' surcharge applies to orders containing items which are over 1.8m in length or 1m2 in flat surface area.

The in-built shipping calculator will automatically include these charges when displaying the shipping cost for your order so there will be no hidden extra charges. If you want to avoid these charges and reduce your shipping cost, consider exchanging large items on your order for smaller versions.

Shipping Outside of the European Union

Easy Composites EU B.V. (www.easycomposites.eu) only ships to EU (Euopean Union) countries. For orders to non-EU countries, including Norway and Switzerland, customers should by from our UK head-office, Easy Composites Ltd (www.easycomposites.co.uk).

Delivery Times

The vast majority of orders are sent by DHL. They are fully trackable and require a signature on delivery.

*Please note that pallet require booking in advance and will usually leave us the following working and therefore the delivery times for pallet orders will be the days shown in the table below once you receive dispatch confirmation.

Delivery times for any order containing Dangerous Goods are not guaranteed. Dangerous Goods orders may also take additional time for dispatch to allow time for the detailed paperwork to be completed.

Tracking Numbers

With the exception of pallet orders, all orders are shipped by DHL. The specific service to be used will be shown to you on the checkout screen.

Tracking numbers for all DHL orders will be automatically emailed to you when your goods are shipped. Tracking numbers are also available from the 'Order History' screen when you log in to your account
