Glass fibre was the original and is still the most widely used type of reinforcement in composites. Within this category you will find our complete range of glass fibre reinforcements including woven glass cloth, glass chopped strand mat and multiaxial glass reinforcement.

Chopped strand mat is the classic reinforcement for traditional 'hand layup' fibreglassing jobs, especially together with polyester laminating resin. Woven glass and multiaxials may require more attention when hand laminating but are also well suited to vacuum bagging or resin infusion and will tend to offer improved mechanical properties compared to a chopped strand mat laminate.
