PU18 is an excellent all-purpose, black, one-part flexible polyurethane adhesive/sealant. Although very cost-effective, PU18 offers superb bond strength to a wide range of substrates including metal, plastics and composite materials. PU18 is a great choice for demanding bonding applications requiring an amount of gap-filling, and especially where components will be subject to shake or vibration.
Sold in a standard 350ml sealant-type tube.

Black, high performance flexible polyurethane/ PU adhesive sealant ideal for a wide range of automotive, marine and aerospace applications. The adhesive sealant creates a very strong bond between a range of materials and is particularly effective as an adhesive in applications where vibration is likely to occur (such as on a car, truck, boat, plane etc.) owing to its flexibility.
The pu adhesive sealant bonds extremely well to carbon fibre, along with metals, GRP, plastic and rubber, making it ideal for bonding or sealing Carbon Mods' range of carbon fibre products. Because the adhesive is black it is often undetectable when used to seal and bond carbon fibre.
PU18 is a single part, air curing adhesive requiring no mixing or activating. By sealing the nozzle the same tube of adhesive and nozzle can be used many times.
Dispensing
The adhesive is supplied in a standard 310ml sealant tube for use in a sealant trigger gun applicator.

Yes, the PU18 bonds to concrete very well.
PU18 will bond to a keyed and cleaned aluminium surface no problem. However, HDPE, being a low energy plastic is very difficult to bond to. The tack of the PU18 means it would likely get reasonable initial grip, but the bond strength would be very weak and the adhesive easily peel off the HDPE.
Yes, certainly. PU18 works very well for metal-to-metal bonds where a slightly flexible bond is required.
One thing to bear in mind though with PU18 when bonding metal is that the curing reaction is aerobic and does need some exposure to air (and the moisture in it) for the adhesive to cure. Because metal is non-porous it doesn't harbour any moisture itself and so the air/moisture needed to cure the adhesive needs to come from exposed edge of the bond. For almost all applications, this is fine and the tiny exposure of the adhesive at the edge of the adhesive bead is all that's needed for the adhesive to cure fully. However, if you try to use the adhesive on large flat surfaces of metal to metal bonding (example, bonding a large metal sheet to another large metal sheet) then you can find that the adhesive in the middle is so far from the edge that it doesn't cure, much like the adhesive that's in the sealed metal tube you're dispensing from.
