Whether you call them dibbers, dabbers or dobbers these prepreg laminating tools are an essential addition to any laminator's tool box.

Dibbers are used to work and manipulate prepreg reinforcements to tightly conform to the mould surface. Traditionally tools have been individually fashioned by hand from pieces of plastic or carbon fibre, although there always will be a place for those 'special dibbers' these three pre-shaped tools (round, half round and flat) will tackle most geometries with ease and comfort. When the standard shapes aren’t quite right for a job the 'blank' tool allows laminators to shape a custom tool to suit the task.

These tools are virtually un-breakable, the low friction polymer increases laminating speed and reduces the potential for fibre damage. These dibbers are increasingly finding their way into large production environments where the standardisation of the tools between laminators leads to improved manufacturing consistency.

These tools all measure approximately 190mm in length, 30mm in width and have a "blade" length of 60mm. They are manufactured in Germany by Dargewitz Composites who specialise in high quality injection moulded products especially for the composites industry.
