De hieronder getoonde hoeveelheid is de hoeveelheid die bij benadering in het project is gebruikt, naar boven afgerond op de dichtstbijzijnde beschikbare kitmaat of hoeveelheid.
KLANTENGALERIJ
Carbon Fibre Corsets
Acclaimed designer Jonathan Harris engineers these amazing high fashion Carbon Fibre corsets from conception to completion using materials including the Uni-Mould System, XPREG System, bagging materials and epoxy resins.
For the corset a combination of processes was needed including producing several moulds using the Uni-Mould Mould Making System.
The main part of the corset was produced using the XPREG pre-preg system with a variety of cloth grades for both strength and looks. The add on side pieces were hand laid up using woven carbon cloth and our EL2 Epoxy laminating Resin. For these kinds of art pieces it was necessary to modify and adjust to ensure the perfect fit to the model used in the photoshoot further adding to the complexity of the project.
Jonathan is also not afraid to try out new methods and ideas and on the neck corset was keen to experiment with the ‘forged Carbon’ look as well as mixing woven cloths and Uni-directional cloths to give a unique appearance and pattern.
